SUMMARY:

St. Louis CITY SC are looking for several part-time workers to join the gameday media operations team! Gameday media staff rotate through several roles on matchday with varying responsibilities throughout the season to gain valuable work experience. Our media operations team is fun, fast-paced, extremely rewarding, and essential for creating the best experience for media members throughout the season.


ABOUT ST. LOUIS CITY SC:

St. Louis CITY SC, one of the few majority female-led ownership groups in all of professional sports, was awarded Major League Soccer's 28th expansion team in 2019. The St. Louis-based ownership group unveiled the club's crest, logo and branding in 2020 and will take the pitch for their historic, inaugural season in 2023. CITY SC will play their home matches at CITYPARK, an STLMade 22,500-seat world-class soccer-specific stadium as part of the new stadium district which includes a practice facility and team headquarters all within the same 30+ acre urban campus in downtown

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support gameday functions including but not limited to managing media will call, assisting as photo marshals and managing media work room
  • Assist with the management of the press box
  • Assist credential media members navigate media areas for St. Louis CITY SC home games
  • Set up/breakdown of all media areas for all CITY home games
  • Adhere to timeline and tasks for ensure smooth experience for the media
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants should be currently enrolled in an accredited program at a college or University. Prior experience working with sports teams, at sports venues, in hospitality or retail is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and have a strong sense of accountability, while exercising flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Must have strong teamwork skills; works effectively with all personalities to support a strong culture
  • Must be legally qualified to work in the United States
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, events, and holidays as required. This position will require flexibility of work schedule.
